The Colorful Prince imagines what might happen if the group collectively begins moving in the direction of female choice. The Prince does not command this change. The group lives it.
Women exercise choice. Men respond to being chosen rather than controlling the conditions of choice. Relationships become less dependent upon possession and hierarchy. And the qualities that make someone desirable can begin to change — from dominance, wealth, and accumulation toward cooperation, emotional intelligence, generosity, creativity, caregiving, and contribution to the larger community.
