The success of the Colorful Prince's mission will be measured by human inclusive fitness.

Unlike environments and social programs, which can be assessed with post-occupancy or Person–Environment Fit evaluations that measure how well a person or group's needs, values, goals, abilities, job, or role match their surroundings, the success of niche construction and gene-culture coevolution habitats is measured by human inclusive fitness.

In gene evolution, success is measured by personal fitness, or the number of children a person can have. Inclusive fitness, on the other hand, involves unconditional emotional bonds, a natural desire to nurture, and social cooperation. This means counting the number of offspring an individual raises and supports, whether or not they are related by blood. These qualities help support altruistic values.

In this context, niche constructions are safe spaces where caregivers, whether or not they are related to the children, take on the role of raising them together. They share parenting duties and provide children with multiple attachment figures, reflecting the structural reciprocity model.
