he oldest surviving Greek play shows how culture was shared through African migration. In “The Suppliant Maidens” by Aeschylus, 50 Egyptian princesses run away to Greece for safety, and their male cousins try to bring them back.

This story is about the Danaii. Their legend is the basis for the graphic series Sacred Blood. The series starts with the African occupation of the Greek Peloponnesus.
